BB GUNS AND AIRSOFT GUNS

BB guns as we all know are air guns which are used to shoot spherical projectiles. There are many other types of guns also available which are mistakenly considered to be the same as BB guns and one such type of gun is airsoft gun. It has been seen that people get confused between both these types of guns and most of the times end up making a wrong decision. It is true that there are many similarities between these two types of guns but it does not mean that they are completely same. The similarities between these two types of guns are that they are used to shoot spherical projectiles, have a smoothbore barrel and have limited range and accuracy. But if we compare then we will find that a BB gun is somewhat better than airsoft guns. A BB gun is basically made of steel or lead but airsoft guns are made of plastic or some other material which does not come under the category of metals. In brief it can be said that airsoft guns are milder version of BB guns and does not cause any harm.
