Working of a gas BB gun

All the Gas powered air guns used in recreational sports including the gas BB gun has a system that fires a projectile using the force of compressed gas. The gasses generally used are the carbon dioxide or sometimes the atmosphere air which. To rest the firing action blowback from the chamber is also used by many of these guns. Commercially used carbon dioxide in form of cartridges is also used. Generally they are discarded after all the compressed gas had been used. Air tanks of different sizes which get filled with a hand pump are also used by many Gas BB guns. The ammo is contained by the chamber until it goes into the barrel. Based on the shooter’s trigger action the gun controls the gas flow into the bb guns’ chamber. The bolt attached is the main mechanism behind the loading the gun and sealing the chamber for shooting. The short burst creating propulsion is totally controlled by the valves present in most gas BB guns. The pressure valve which gets struck by the hammer is the most important and is shut by a tension spring maintain the seal until the strike of the hammer.
