Gas BB Gun – A quick introduction

There are many bb guns that are gas driven. Gas powered guns use gas cartridges for ammunition to be shot out through the gun. Some of the features of the gas bb guns are:

These guns use gas to force ammunition. Small gas cartridges are installed into the gun before usage. When the trigger is pulled, gas is sent out through the gun to shoot out the BB or paintball bullets.

It is a semi-automatic gun. Once the gas is fired, the empty round is cleared and a new round is loaded. The gun cocks on its own. Only one piece of bullet is shot with every trigger pulled.

Many different types of gas can be used in the gas bb guns. Green gas, that includes propane and silicon oil to lubricate the gun, is very popular. Carbon dioxide is also used in some of the guns.

Recoil features are also present in some gas guns. The gun moves backwards after being fired due to the strong power of the bullet being shot out adding to the realism of the gun.
